1) Can I use a drone for photography and filming at Keemala?
To preserve privacy, serenity, and the natural environment, the use of drones is not permitted anywhere within the resort or surrounding airspace.
2) How many villas are there at Keemala?
We’ve a total of 38 pool villas. 16 Clay Pool Cottages, 7 Tent Pool Villas, 7 Tree Pool Houses and 8 Bird’s Nest Pool Villas.
3) I have small children is Keemala right for our family?
At Keemala, we are pleased to welcome guests of all ages. Our resort is designed in harmony with nature, featuring an open landscape and a serene, tranquil atmosphere. For this reason, we do not offer dedicated children’s facilities such as a kids’ club or kids’ pool.
While we do not have standalone children’s programs, children are welcome to join selected activities together with their parents, such as LEGO sessions and cooking classes, creating meaningful shared experiences.
To ensure the comfort, safety, and peaceful ambiance for all guests, children must be accompanied by two adults, and parents remain fully responsible for their children’s health, safety, and supervision throughout the stay. Please also note that not all villa types are suitable for children due to our natural design.
4) Does Keemala have a private beach?
Keemala is nestled within a lush rainforest setting. While there is no private beach, a complimentary shuttle service is provided to Kamala Beach.
5) Is it possible to enjoy an early check-in or late check-out?
If the villa is available, you may enjoy an early check-in and/or late checkout, this is subject to availability as we may have other guests checking into, or out of your villa on the same day. We will do our utmost to facilitate your request. Standard check-in time is 3pm and checkout time is 12pm.

7) What is included in my villa rate?
Depending on whether you have booked through an agent or selected a specific package, we normally offer the following inclusions to all full-paying guests who book directly via our website:
- Personalized villa host service
- Welcome gourmet drink and welcome fruit upon arrival
- Daily breakfast
- Daily minibar refill (non-alcoholic beverages)
- Wireless internet access
- Daily housekeeping service
- 24-hour uniformed security
- Full use of the fitness room
- Complimentary recreational and holistic in-house activities
8) What is the maximum occupancy of the villas?
Maximum occupancy varies by villa category:
• Clay Pool Cottage: 2 guests
• Tent Pool Villa: 2 guests
• Tree Pool House: 4 guests
• Bird’s Nest Pool Villa: 3 guests.

9) What is included in breakfast?
Breakfast is served daily and features a curated buffet selection alongside à la carte options, offering both nourishing and indulgent choices, including fresh fruits, juices, pastries, Asian specialties, and classic favorites such as eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, and prosecco.
10) What are our options for mealtimes?
Depending on the package selected, our restaurant offers international fine dining with a fusion of Thai cuisine, Indian specialties, and healthy, raw, and vegetarian options for lighter dining. A curated wine list and crafted cocktails complete the experience, creating a perfect balance of indulgent and wholesome soul food.
11) What is there for us to do on Phuket?
Phuket is a beautiful island offering a wide range of exciting excursions and activities, from adrenaline-filled zip-lining through the jungle to relaxing on its stunning beaches, which vary by season for swimming or surfing. Guests are encouraged to immerse themselves in local culture by visiting Phuket Old Town and joining environmentally responsible tours. Your villa host will be delighted to guide you in making the most of your time in Phuket.
12) What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary by season and rate plan. Please refer to your booking confirmation for full details.
13) How do we get around Phuket?
Airport transfers are available at an additional charge; please let us know in advance so we can check pricing and availability. We also offer a complimentary shuttle service to Kamala Beach from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Local taxis are readily available outside the resort.
For guests who prefer to self-drive, car hire services can be arranged, and our team will be happy to assist with the booking. Please ensure you bring a valid International Driver’s License.
14) What Climate Can I Expect in Phuket?
Phuket has a warm, tropical climate year-round, with plenty of sunshine and sea breezes. Here’s what you can expect:
November to April (Dry Season):
Sunny days, low humidity, and calm seas — ideal for beach time and outdoor activities. Temperatures average 26–32°C.
May to October (Green/Monsoon Season):
Lusher landscapes with occasional tropical showers, usually short and refreshing. Seas can be livelier, making this season popular for surfing. Temperatures remain around 25–31°C.
Overall, Phuket is warm and inviting throughout the year, just pack light clothing, sunscreen, and a relaxed mindset.
15) What money do I need?
The Thai currency is the Baht, which is easily convertible into most major currencies. Moneychangers and ATM services are located all around Phuket. In Keemala we accept cash and American Express, VISA, Master Card and JCB.
16) I have special dietary requirements can you cater for me?
We are happy to cater to special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, raw, and other specific needs. Please let us know your dietary preferences or any allergies in advance, and our culinary team will do their best to accommodate you throughout your stay.
Your villa host and restaurant team will also be pleased to assist you on arrival to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
17) I am disabled. Are you accessible?
Some villas are designed to support wheelchair access. As the resort is located on a hillside, we recommend contacting us prior to booking so we may assist appropriately.
