    • 28 December - 9 January: Clinical Aromatherapy & Acupuncture with Victoria Kirkwood

Clinical aromatherapy is the use of high quality plant essential oils for enhancing the health of the body and mind, and to treat disorders of these should they appear. Oils are useful for relief of various physical pathologies such as respiratory disorders, hormonal balancing, and headaches. They can also address issues of stress, anxiety, depression, disorders of the psyche, anti-microbials, and moisturizing, dehydrating or stimulating the skin. They help with muscle and joint problems as well.

Each session with Victoria starts with an initial health and lifestyle assessment.  After that, a custom formulation of blends to address specific areas of need is created and that specific blend is introduced through a holistic massage session. Through Clinical Aromatherapy, guests will experience dramatic stress reduction, manage chronic stress related problems, identify areas of self-limitation, sabotage and emotional wounding to a place of healing, restoration and wholeness.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medical system which combines the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, massage, and movement exercises (known as Tai Chi or Qi Gong) to bring the body into balance. TCM is rooted in the ancient philosophy of Taoism and dates back more than 2,500 years.

The goal of the TCM practitioner is to assess the entire constitution of the patient --considering both physiological and psychological aspects. The practitioner first observes the general characteristics of the patient, and then tries to discern a relationship between symptoms in order to establish what is called a "pattern of disharmony." Some modalities of TCM include acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, dietary and lifestyle advice, tui-na, and gua-sha.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medical system which combines the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, massage, and movement exercises (known as Tai Chi or Qi Gong) to bring the body into balance. Whereas Western medicine looks closely at a symptom and tries to find an underlying cause, TCM looks at the body as a whole. Each symptom is looked at in relationship to all other presenting symptoms.

The goal of the TCM practitioner is to assess the entire constitution of the patient --considering both physiological and psychological aspects. The practitioner first observes the general characteristics of the patient, and then tries to discern a relationship between symptoms in order to establish what is called a "pattern of disharmony."  Treatment is aimed at restoring harmony and bringing the body into balance.

    • 3 - 13 February: Vibrational Attunement with Phil Davies

Vibrational Attunement Therapy is a non-intrusive, non-obtrusive, energy therapy that facilitates change while dramatically speeding up the healing process. Each session increases vibrational frequency and light quotient, thus creating a stronger connection to Self. With the assistance of the guests’ higher consciousness, the intentions set prior to the sessions and their willingness to heal, the vibrational frequency of their physical and subtle bodies are increased to allow them to recognize, embrace and release challenges and issues that surround you, from either this reality or that of parallel realities. Additionally, subtle body repair will be made where necessary and all sessions are concluded with a full energetic alignment and grounding. Sessions generally begin with a short guided meditation to assist guests in relaxing, so that the subtle bodies may expand and work can take place. Phil Davis has been active in promoting self-connection and self-healing in Hong Kong for the past 10 years, providing workshops in self-awareness, self-connection as well as regular meditation and healing groups.

14 - 26 February: Namikoshi Shiatsu with Yutaka Homma

Namikoshi Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork that combines Eastern healing philosophies and Western anatomical knowledge. The practitioner applies manual and digital pressure to the skin with the aim of preventing and curing illness by stimulating the body’s natural powers of recuperation, eliminating fatigue-producing elements, and promoting general good health. Over the course of time our organs build up increasing residues of sludge like waste that interferes with their normal functioning. Compression forces out stagnant or toxic materials, bringing a rebound of fresh arterial blood and stimulating a return toward normal function through detoxification. Namikoshi Shiatsu address such health concerns as arthritis, chronic fatigue, post-operative rehabilitation, blood and lymph circulation, strengthening of immune system, stress reduction, and greater mind-body integration. Yutaka Homma is a world-renowned Namikoshi Shiatsu Master of the Japan Shiatsu Promotion & Academy (J-SPA), and practices shiatsu with its essence of kindness and compassion.

Experience a deeply rejuvenating, energising, healing and relaxing journey with this artful and profound session. Combining Western methods with Thai traditional healing techniques, Nok, or Cholatee Intachak, customises each session to reflect the physical form, heart and spirit of each guest. The various techniques used include traditional Thai massage, yoga massage, Chi Nei Tsang, aromatherapy massage, Thai herbal oil massage, acupressure, chakra balancing and Pranic Healing. In combination with these techniques, additional tools such as silk, bamboo and crystals may be used to achieve a deep and long lasting result.

Tok Sen, the Northern Thai practice of rhythmic tapping with a special wooden hammer and wedge combined with Thai acu-points, a healing technique developed by Buddhist Monks centuries ago, can also be applied in this session to create a healing vibration that works deeply through the fascia and muscles in the body.

Integrative Thai Bodywork with Nok helps to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, migraine, insomnia and pain. It can also help improve mood and a general sense of well being. Moreover, this session facilitates muscle relaxation, improves digestion, breathing, circulation and hormones, enhances physical and mental fitness, strength and flexibility, and cleanses the body, mind and spirit.

      Integrative Thai Bodywork with Tim

      24-Hour Advanced Booking Required

      Integrative Thai Bodywork with Tim

Through a combination of ancient Eastern techniques, Tim, or Tunrat Akkhalamanirot will lead guests through a deeply healing and transformative bodywork session. Each session is unique and tailored to each guest's body and energetic system's needs. As a result, Integrative Thai Bodywork with Tim will help to feel energised, improve connection to the body and mind, relief longstanding physical issues within the body, improve digestion, painful menstruation, and back pains, and ultimately feel rejuvenated.

This session utilises different healing techniques that focus on different issues within the body and mind. Tantsu, a form of bodywork inspired by Zen Shiatsu and the flowing aquatic bodywork form known as Watsu, or Water Shiatsu, involves gentle stretching, meditation, and yoga-like movements that loosen up any tight muscles. Chi Nei Tsang massage, a form of Chinese healing, utilizes the Five Elements of Chinese medicine, and detoxifies, tonifies, re-balances and invigorates the health of internal organs through abdominal massage. Tok Sen, a century-old Thai traditional therapy, uses mechanical and sound vibration that work deeply through the fascia and muscles to help unlock and heal the energy flow and muscle tension within the body.

And finally, Karsai Nei Tsang health massage, developed my Taoist master Man Tak Chia, uses deep pressure to open the abdominal and pelvic area to release sedimentation and coagulation of the vessels in the sexual organs, glands and associated parts. Over time, due to gravity, sedimentation and coagulation of the vessels result in blockages in the testicles and prostate gland in men, and the uterus, ovary and mon pubis area in women. Karsai Nei Tsang addresses common problems associated with our sexual organs, impotency, frequent and difficult urination, painful menstruation, painful scar tissue after giving birth, painful intercourse and low sexual libido. It is also effective in alleviating lower back pain, improving the body's alignment, strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and increasing general vitality. This method
